Method design: Nokia Lumia launch
In collaboration with Method Design, Miranda worked as a content strategist and content lead, producing guidelines and content for three digital touchscreens supporting the launch of Nokia Lumia phones. The touchscreens were designed to inspire and assist customers when choosing their device as part of a wider instore experience designed by Fitch and included a standalone kiosk for shopping centre environments. Each touchscreen highlighted how different aspects of the phone would benefit customer experience in in different areas of interest. Learn more about each touchscreen below. What and why: The Living Maps touchscreen aimed to create a community hub in flagship stores around the world. It centred on a large digital interactive map that visitors to the store could use to find out what was going on in the town or city local to that store. Each map contained content curated by local journalists and influencers, highlighting quirky, cool and interesting things that chimed with the Nokia brand. It was refreshed seasonally with a new theme and hero feature.
The following slides show some of content developed for the London pilot and what happened when users clicked on the tiles. The theme was ‘winter in London’ and the hero feature focused on outdoor ice rinks around the city. Categories were also developed around London eateries, using Dinner by Heston Blumenthal as an example.
