Miranda Pope is a content designer, curator, copywriter and editor who for the last 6 years has been concepting, producing and directing work for IKEA at a global level. Before that she worked for a diverse array of world-leading brands including British Airways, the FT, Fairy, Casio G-Shock, Ideal Standard, Mazda, Nokia and Tampax. She believes that great creative doesn’t have to be sacrificed at the altar of the brief, and strives for creative excellence with commercial impact. Her work motto is ‘assumption is the mother of all f**k-ups’, something she learnt the hard way early in her career.

It was while training to be a photographer that Miranda discovered her love of putting words to images, leading to a career pivot via a radio production training course and a host of digital adventures in the early 2000s. Another of her life’s big loves is art – she has been curating and writing about it as long as she can remember, completing a PhD in curating and art history at Goldsmiths college in 2017 and publishing several books and essays. She still keeps her hand in, supporting artists and putting on shows from time to time.
