Content strategist & manager

Miranda has had a number of content strategist and content manager roles. She was content manager and copy lead on a redesign of Ideal Standard’s consumer and corporate websites. The scope included developing user profiles, writing, editing and commissioning copy for all aspects of the site including UX, interviewing designers and producers for profiles and case studies, and creating brochures and a learning portal. She also built a future-proofed content framework and created all style and tone of voice guides. She coordinated with stakeholders across the product, brand, PR, and translation teams throughout, and spent a memorable day at one of their (sadly now closed) factories in Stoke on Trent to deepen her understanding of the business.

As a content strategist at Ogilvy, Miranda was part of a team building cross-brand content that showcased the sustainability activities of all brands under the Unilever umbrella. Titled ‘Good together’, she audited existing content and recommended what types of new content could help build the brand’s sustainability profile.

At IKEA of Sweden she was the content manager for a team building a global knowledge app for co-workers. She distilled complex product specifications into easily accessible information and fun games to deliver relevant information about IKEA products in an engaging format. It featured a leaderboard element to encourage on-going engagement.
